I think I will be able to, in the end, rise above the clouds and climb the stairs to Heaven, and I will look down on my beautiful life.

Artist, author, creator Anne Hedin wants to help as many people as possible look down and see a beautiful life. In her experience, art always makes life better. She share's her love of art not only by creating artwork herself, but also by inviting collaboration on art installations and offering local art exhibits.

Her unique painting style involves bold lines, pops of color, and uplifting imagery. Viewers' eyes light up when they enter one of her exhibits often commenting the instant connection they feel with her artwork.

Hedin cares about her community's ability to have access to the Fine Arts. Hedin's Intern with an Artist & Foster Art Project (FAP) idea began in the Spring of 2020 where she plants seeds of confidence, problem solving skills, and the joy of creation in her community's youth in a new and exciting way with elementary children.

Intern with an Artist & FAP was designed to enable youth to assist professional artists in the creating process of large art pieces. These works are then put on public display in galleries and studio spaces locally. To add to the love of the process, Hedin helps set up an on-loan art system in elementary school libraries so children can check out actually one of kind pieces of contemporary art, much like a library book, to take home and hang on their bedroom wall for extended periods of time.

Stop by her studio downtown Coeur d'Alene, Idaho and take a selfie while exploring Hedin's most recent art installation. Art is not just about the artist, it's about the viewer's experience as well and together this is what makes a beautiful life.
